It’s that time again!!!!! I hope you all are ready for this season. Remember, if it’s your time, IT’S YOUR TIME! A few things to keep in mind:
-
If you need a letter of recommendation from a financial member of the organization you want to join, make sure you provide them with all the details well in advance.
-
Meet ALL deadlines. There will be hundreds of prospects vying for a spot, so make sure everything is submitted on time and in order.
-
If you need a copy of your transcript, request it now rather than later. You don’t want that to be the reason you’re held up.
-
Funds matter. Hopefully, you’ve been saving! It would be unfortunate to be selected and then unable to continue due to a lack of funds.
-
Have someone you trust—and preferably a member of the organization—review your packet. They can help guide you and ensure everything is complete and correct.
-
Ask questions! Rush is not only a time to receive information but also to ask questions. You should be well-informed about the process and expectations.
-
Review your application multiple times. Make sure everything is filled out correctly. If something doesn’t apply to you, write N/A instead of leaving it blank.
-
Stay busy! Once your application is submitted, keep yourself occupied while you wait to hear back. It’s easier said than done, but it truly helps.
-
Don’t HATE. I get it—you may feel your packet was perfect, yet still wasn’t chosen for whatever reason. Remember, most organizations don’t rely solely on your packet; members also vote on who they want in their chapter. If it’s not your time, don’t give up. Keep pushing forward. Many people who’ve followed my blog for years didn’t make it until their 3rd or 4th try. Go back and read the comments—you’ll see. They didn’t quit, and neither should you.
-
GOOD LUCK! Wishing you all the best as you apply to the organization of your dreams.
Yay! When the spring rush thread gets posted, you know it's on and poppin! Thanks so much for the advice and new thread. Good luck ladies, let's get it!
ReplyDeleteExcited for this years Rush events to be posted!
DeleteMy chapter of interest just posted their rush flyer! So exciting
ReplyDeleteMine did as well! I am excited and nervous at the same time. It has been almost a decade since my COI has had intake.
DeleteGood luck ladies. My COI is not having rush this year....it will be 7 years. I'll just keep patiently waiting and rooting for you all to make it.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for this blog and posts. They've been super helpful. I've been a silent reader for 3 years now. And to those who have gotten notices of Rush, good luck! ❤️π«ΆπΎ
ReplyDeleteHappy Founders Day @Dablest_1 !
ReplyDeleteThank you for the advice. I sm excited for this journey. Good luck everyone! π
ReplyDeleteHello ladies. This time last year I was on this blog waiting/ready for the Spring 2025 Rush post. This blog has been such a resource of shared support when I was going through my application process. I look forward to seeing your posts and updates, your triumphs, and seeing you on "this" side. Good luck.
ReplyDeleteDitto; Best of luck in your pursuit, ladies -- it's worth it -- TRUST!
DeleteIt’s been 12 years for my COI….still waiting
ReplyDeleteAt least 2 DMV rushes this weekend that I’ve seen
ReplyDeleteYep. And at least one more is coming soon.
DeleteHi everyone! I wishing everyone the best of luck! For the people that have received a date for rush, is it only publicized on the website or did they post on social media pages? Also, is registration required? There was a lot madness last year, lol, and I am trying to see if any changes have been made.
ReplyDeleteIt depends on the chapter. My COI has not posted on social media or FB, but they posted on their website. Just check them all regularly to make sure you catch it. Good luck!
DeleteTo my knowledge the pre-registration is preferred, but not required. Not sure why they started doing it, but maybe it helps determine how many people will be in attendance? As long as you show up on time, you should be fine. I filled out the registration just in case it helps in some way. LOL.
DeleteThank you for makkng this post!
ReplyDeleteAre rush announcements still being posted on social media or just chapter websites? For the flyers I've seen on Google, I've noticed that they're not posted when I check the respective chapters social media pages
I’ve only seen them being posted on their website. It was kind of hidden on COI website where I’ve been checking the events section and that is not where the rush announcement was posted.
DeleteThe few rushes I’ve seen posted were on website only & had registration links
ReplyDeleteHas anyone ever heard of exceptions being made to rush attendance? Like if more than one can be offered? I'm out of town and will be getting home the day after area's chapter is hosting rush. Is it over for me?
ReplyDeleteNo. You will have to try again in a few years.
DeleteI'll just say, it doesn't hurt to ask. But you need to say something before rush, not after. if it were me, I would change my plans unless the chapter you're pursuing has intake often, or if it's work related and you can't.
DeleteI'm the one who said it doesn't hurt to ask, but forgot to clarify, that my comments only referred to alumnae chapter only not UG.
DeleteIt will be over for you. Can you come back early or you will have to wait unfortunately!
DeleteYou should make arrangements to get home for RUSH, as you must be present for the entire presentation in order to receiving application. If not, you may not have another opportunity for several years
DeleteYou must be able to attend the date listed. They would not agree to having more than one per Rush season. Your best bet is to change your flight or wait until next time.
DeleteAny rushes in NY?
ReplyDeleteWhere in NY? I saw a Rush flyer for undergrad colleges in NYC.
DeleteI saw that too. Wonder if any alumnae chapters will have
DeleteAnyone attending Chicago Alumnae?
ReplyDeletehow was the rush experience? I imagine it being packed
Delete@3:27pm if you are referring to CAC, yes it was packed but very well organized
DeleteAnyone attended Metropolitan Dallas?
ReplyDeleteI wonder what MDA line cap will be. Last line was in 2018 and 36 crossed. They had over 1k at the rush.
DeleteAnyone attend Metropolitan Dallas?
ReplyDeleteI seemed like its was well over 1k at rush π₯΄
ReplyDelete@ 1/17 7:39… we may have been at the same rush! Every seat was taken!
DeleteWhat chapter?
Delete@ 1/17 8:20pm Metropolitan Dallas
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone know when they will post (D)MV rush?? I’ve been keeping my schedule free because I don’t want to plan anything and miss it.
ReplyDelete@jan 18 6am: they’ll likely post dc rush within the next week and a half. They have 2 so make sure you know which your zip code would belong to.
DeleteI heard that there were no plans for a DC rush this spring.
DeleteIn recent years their intake has been very infrequent. WDC's last two lines were 7 and 12 years apart. FC was 18 years. They both had lines in 2020. Hopefully they won't make people wait that long for the next one.
Delete@January 18, 2026 at 12:37 PM both DC alumnae chapters cover all of DC, regardless of zip code
DeleteIs anyone going to NoVA rush?
ReplyDeleteI was there
DeleteChicago Alumnae is doing Rush. Does anyone know if CMAC is as well π
ReplyDeleteCMAC is not
DeleteIf my COI has not posted rush yet, does that mean they are not posting for the spring?
ReplyDeleteNope. It's still early. There's a chapter in my area that's doing intake and hasn't posted yet. I wouldn't start to worry until mid Feb if this is alumnae/grad chapter. UG maybe a little sooner.
DeleteI really enjoy this blog looking at the everyone’s progress. Good luck everyone!
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone know if Atlanta or Atlanta Suburban will have a rush for Spring 2026?
ReplyDeleteI havent heard about those having one this year so I doubt it. I know Coweta county Deltas are. Thats the Newnan and Lagrange area.
DeleteAnyone know if any TN chapter is doing intake?
ReplyDeleteThe entire state? LOL
DeleteNashville alumnae
DeleteYes, Nashville is having a rush. Looks like they just announced it.
DeleteI see many expressing grievances about grad chapters across the country having Rush years apart, sometimes more than a decade. Does anyone know why that is? Why is that allowed? Hopefully, there will be some sort of minimum standard that requires a Rush every few years instead of this infinite time between rushes.
ReplyDeleteHow it was explained to me is, it's a long process and a lot goes into it. Also, grad chapters don't need to bring in new members all the time like UG does.
DeleteI wish they could do rushes sooner, but it would just be a lot on some chapters to do it back to back.
There are so many factors that go into alumnae chapter approval. Many members are settled in their lives and city, so they seldom leave the chapters. Collegiates are always going to graduate, so they must have intake more often to continue the chapter's activity.
DeleteI'm so happy this blog is continuing to post! Does anyone know if the Dade county DST alumnae chapter is hosting a rush this spring?
ReplyDelete@jan 20 4:45: I only saw Broward county so far.
DeleteA lot of people are asking if their COI is having rush.. Very important to make those connections and get to know the members! Good luck to everyone!
ReplyDeleteThis is the best advice! If you're not hearing about intake well before rush is announced, you're not doing this right.
Delete
ReplyDeleteif you have been a pyramid before and were not initiated due to reasons outside of your control, does it effect you negatively if you try again?
I don't think anyone here can answer that, as I'm sure there's more to this story. Ask a member friend for the best advice.
Delete@ 1/21/26 9:54am….definitely try again and attend rush! This happened to my niece in UG….she was selected but something happened and the ladies couldn’t go on line so she tried again her senior year and made line again and officially crossed last year right before graduation!!
Deletechapters have active members that are participating in activities and the work of the chapter, there is really no rush to hold RUSH as often thus it allows them to wait longer between lines. Also it’s a huge commitment from the chapter and its members. The chapter is required to have the proper staff and be in good standing as a chapter.
ReplyDeleteThat's what I've heard too. But fraternities (and other sorority chapters) seem to do intake more often, so I wonder why it's easier for some and not others.
Delete11:30 - cause those other sorority have lower numbers/members. DST and aka are the most popular in numbers, and many of their members stay in that chapter. There really isn’t a need for intake often on the grad level.
DeleteThis is understandable but 5 years should be sufficient for that. Waiting a decade (sometimes longer) is crazy.
DeleteRe: Anon @1/22 - I agree. I know each org is different but wonder why it works for other orgs and not this one. I really hope they reconsider and establish a mandatory cap soon.
Yes, but are plenty of Delta chapters that have intake every 3-6 years, depending on the region/state/area. But maybe those service areas don't have the large turnout that other chapters/areas do.
Delete@11:20 Exactly. You said exactly what I was thinking. Frats and other D9 sororities have RUSH wayyyyy more often (on the alumni level). If active members, the work, the commitment, staffing, etc., was the reason for not having RUSH as often (and it's a very valid reason), I'd think we'd see that same consistency across other D9 orgs.
ReplyDeleteHey ladies! I haven’t seen anyone list their timeline yet and I know it’s still early but wanted to get it started
ReplyDeleteNorthern VA rush: 1/19
Apps due: 1/29
I think we’ll get calls back for interviews in a couple weeks π€πΎ
Not nearly as many people there as in previous years. For anyone else that was there, what did you think? #HopefulinVA
Thank you for starting the timeline. Here’s mine:
DeleteFW rush: 1/17
Apps due: 1/27
Turned my app in 1/24
I quadruple checked prior to hitting submit lol it was so nerve wracking because any little thing can disqualify you.
I think calls will start going out around Valentine’s Day! I’ve put all plans on hold until I know something.
Does anyone know if you’re selected and you have to submit pay within that 24 hour window, are we allowed to have someone else take it or do we have to be the one?
Delete@ 1/24 at 11:05am, you will need to go to submit the payment.
Delete@11:03pm we attended the same rush. I submitted my stuff on 1/25. Finger crossed and best of luck to you!
Delete@Anonymous January 24, 3:19 PM I was at that rush too. I was also surprised there weren't more people. But some people can overlap with FX which had intake last year, so maybe that kept the numbers lower. Good luck to you!
DeleteI have a couple more days. Probably submitting tomorrow. I hope everything is filled out correctly!
DeleteHow many people do you think were at the NoVa Rush?
DeleteRush- 1/18
DeleteApps Due- 1/28
App submitted- 1/27
Good luck everyone!
@ January 24, 2026 at 11:03 PM How many people were at your rush on 1/17? If this is the chapter I think it is, I heard it was packed. Either way, good luck!
DeleteHave anyone hear me of the new rule of being invited to the alumnae rush being implemented?
ReplyDeleteWhat rule are you referring to?
DeleteI haven’t heard. Some chapters in my state are invite only, however, my COI posted their flyer on the website.
DeleteI heard that but in my case rush was publicly posted
DeleteYep. I hear it will start in 2027. I love it and this will weed out a lot of people that just go to rush without building connections and not going to any events.
DeleteYou need to know someone to be invited.
Interesting. I wonder how would this event work, considering there's a residency requirement. AKA graduate membership is invite only, but you can join the chapter you want, not one that's dictated by zip code. But it's probably a good way to make sure they bring in only proven, quality people they think would be a good fit, and avoid lines of 100+ people.
DeleteTo clarify - Are you all saying that chapters are able to choose if they want to publicly promote their rush or do invite only this year and invite only will become the norm next year?
DeleteInvite only will begin next year.
DeleteAnd residency requirements will still be in effect.
If your chapter is not having rush this year, next year it will be invite only.
DeleteDo you have the connections? How many events have you been to? This year you need to work on those things.
Maybe this will translate into more frequent intake. Because if you only invite 20-50 people, it's less work than having 900+ people showing up to rush and having to do all that work.
DeleteNo, it's not happening this year but heard it will happen soon. When rush becomes invite only, do you think they'll get rid of service areas?
DeleteThey definitely will not get rid of service areas
DeleteWhat's the realistic last date for an alumnae chapter to have rush?
ReplyDeleteI'm sure it depends on the chapter, but I've seen some around the second week of Feb.
DeleteHave anyone heard of the new rule where you have to be invited to rush? Has it been implemented? Is this something for the future? My COI is currently not hosting Rush it has been 12 years.
ReplyDeleteSomething for the future. Invite to rush and I hear you have to submit a picture as well.
DeleteI noticed that my COI is requesting a picture when signing up for stuff.
The picture isn’t a bad thing I support and volunteer so I get hello from everyone even if they don’t know my name. Some mistake me as already as being initiated because I am a frequent face but until I cross I will continue to do the work!
DeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteThey getting tired of 1k-2k interest showing up because of all the paperwork they have to go through. All applicants qualified get an interview so imagine all attendees are qualified …interviews would probably take a month or more when they already know who they’re going to pick anyway so less work if they offer invitation. It sucks but…makes sense. And at least the residency rule will still be in effect to weed out folks just pulling from other communities because they weren’t chosen there when clearly if they don’t live in the service area…how do they expect to serve the chapter fr. So make those connections ladies if you don’t get in this time around. Good luck to all spring 2026 applicants!
ReplyDelete@ January 25, 2026 at 9:26 PM I agree, except for the service are thing. Some people have multiple chapters the would be convenient. In fact, a chapter that I do not qualify for is geographically better for me, but it is what it is.
DeleteIt seems there’s some kind of confusion on the public service portion of the letter. Since there’s a date already typed on the form, does a pen and ink date need to be included along with the pen and ink signature at the bottom of the service log? I’ve read the instructions 1000 times and there’s no explicit instructions to do so and the box only says recommender signature but I guess applicants are adding that to play it safe?
ReplyDeleteI had questions about the date too. I reached out to the lmc and she did not answer my question πππ she just said dates don’t have to be typed. I’m over here like okay…but does it need to go at the bottom of the page lady yes or no?!! lol
DeleteI emailed our LMC and she said no, the date doesn’t need to be in pen and ink. The date is already present.
DeleteI would just follow the directions explicitly. If it doesn’t say to do that then don’t! I agree though. A lot of that app leaves things up to interpretation. For example, do I list all the degrees I have or only the highest? How do you want me to list my community involvement ? Intake chair very slow to respond to questions π
DeleteJust make sure the date on your letters are dated AFTER the RUSH date. I would type the date at the top of letter and have the person who signs the letter (pen and ink) date it next to their signature at the bottom as well to be on the safe side.
DeleteCommunity service hours should be listed in order and broken up by months.
DeleteJanuary 2025- 5 hours
February 2025- 12 hours
March 2025- 7 hours etc...
7:48am , yes there’s a form now
DeleteI have some thoughts on the "make sure you attend events and get to know people" advice people are giving.
ReplyDeleteYes that is true, it is great to have a good relationships with as many members as possible however, realistically, it is IMPOSSIBLE for every single member to know you personally. Especially for very large chapters.
I think that advice has a bit of undergrad mentality to it. Similar to a popularity contest which doesn't really apply to grad chapter. Grad chapter is moreso about your application and what you bring to the organization.
Some events are virtual, (sometimes) members don't really attend events themselves and its full of other prospects, not every member you see is active/financial and qualified to vote, etc. You'll be spinning your wheels in mud chasing events and members when its the outside work that really counts.
Remember - even active members don't know every other member. There's no way YOU will get to know more members just by attending events.
It's great to get close with a handful but overall, nothing will trump a strong application. With a very strong application even those who don't know you will be more inclined to vote for you.
As we all know, many women have made line not knowing anyone but that's because they had a strong application. I don't think we can say the same for the opposite - that someone made line with a weak application but they "knew a lot of members". If they did, those members made sure the prospects application was up to par.
That will be changing. If you don't know a few members then your chances of getting an invite are slim.
DeletePlus, the more people you know the more people you will have to "push" a vote your way.
Keep in mind they look at your whole application and your interactions with the chapter. You can look good on paper, have a doctorate and have the hours but be a horrible speaker and you’ve never attended events or never spoken to anyone. Or they just may not like your personality. On the other hand, You may only have a bachelor degree but your public service letter shows you make an true impact, you have a glowing recognition from a Delta and you’ve attended events and made genuine connections. Yes, it’s impossible to get to know all the members but power of the co-sign is real as you actually have someone who can speak to who you are and what you can contribute as opposed to just using an application to guess. Is it the end all be all? No, but it can be helpful. We see women with masters/doctorates in high ranking positions not make it. Don’t rely on just your application.
DeleteI’m pretty confident in my application but the fact that 1000 people of not more attended our rush and no more than 150 will be selected is brutal lol luckily we’ll have answers within a month and the way time has been flying we’ll be there before we know it.
ReplyDeleteI feel the same way. There were definitely over 1k women there. Although I know not everyone there meets the qualifications so they will not apply or be granted an interview. Did they tell you the cap was 150? At my COI they didn’t say.
DeleteTrying to find out the last time Philadelphia alumnae had a line. Last I found was 15 years ago.
ReplyDelete@January 26 at 2:43 pm. Philly's last line was 3 years ago.
DeleteJust curious if there are any AKA rush prospects here? I just attended Rush and I am nervous!!! Trying my best to find someone to sponsor me. Fingers crossed, and good luck to everyone who is on the journey of joining their dream org.
ReplyDeleteHey! It's so nice to see another AKA prospect here! I am a prospect as well, hoping to be invited for membership!
Delete@Jan 26 4:39 PM. Excuse my ignorance I'm not an AKA prospect. But I always assumed you had to have a sponsor in order to attend the rush, no?
DeleteShe may be undergrad. Undergrad aka anyone can come to rush. Grad is invite only.
Delete@ 9:08 PM, Ah yes. She said sponsor but I'm realizing now maybe she meant be a letter writer, not the same type of sponsor for grad chapter.
DeleteDoes anyone know Metropolitan dallas alumnae line cap this year? I don’t recall them mentioning it.
ReplyDeleteYou could possibly email & ask
DeleteI wouldn't email and ask. They seemed disgusted when that question was asked at the rush I attended.
Delete@ Jan 26 at 11:41 PM, I would not email and ask that question. It seems like in the past they provided that information at rush, maybe not anymore. But in the end, it doesn't matter. Whatever the cap is, you have to get the majority vote. So knowing the limit only adds more stress.
DeleteDoes anyone know how far in advance chapters have to post they are having a rush?
ReplyDeleteAre any of the Miami DST alumnae chapters having intake?
ReplyDeleteSouth Broward is having a rush on the 1st. Flyer is up. Not sure if that's Miami
DeleteLadies, at the end of the day, we have to be realistic..Everyone is competing for the same opportunities. Constantly asking whether chapters are having intake, without doing the work to find out on your own, is unreasonable. Asking for help with certain things is fine, but repeatedly relying on others instead of doing your own research, or making those connections with members shows a lack of effort.
ReplyDeleteYou nailed it.
DeleteWhile I do think that making connections with members is important because it'll help in the long run (and you get to know who they are on a different level) some people will not have the opportunity. I think we should allow the forum to be what it was intended to be... A space where people come and ask questions.
DeleteAnd if you were not seeking any information yourself, you wouldn't be on here either. I don't know what's in the air this year, but it seems to be very "uppity" on here now. Constantly saying people aren't doing xyz, when you don't know what people are doing is crazy.
In a perfect world, you'd want to have a great application, great connections, go to every event, etc. But some people may be stronger in other areas. And if the connection isn't made this time around, it can be made next year! And let's hope it's before a Rush occurs. Everyone has strengths and things they can work on. So many great, qualified women who had everything checked off, did not make it. And even if you didn't have everything (ex: lack of connection) it is achievable. Delayed, does NOT mean denied! Grad chapter is super competitive! Let's all focus on our own journeys into whatever Sorority/Fraternity we have chosen, and stop trying to come in this blog talking down on the next person.
It's insane to me seeing folks asking if chapter ABC is having intake in this space. If you're coming here asking this, you're not doing what you're suppose to do if you really want this.
DeleteJanuary 28, 2026 at 4:27 PM beautiful response!
DeleteDid anyone else hear about them mandating a time limit between lines?
ReplyDeleteWhat do you mean?
DeleteHaven’t heard this one
DeleteI heard a rumor about this several years ago, but it was from an interest (she's since crossed). But if they are going invite only, you would think rush would be more often since they don't have to read 50-11 applications each time.
DeleteI did, I heard that they have to conduct member intake every 5 years.
ReplyDeleteYeah, because anything over 10 years is crazy!
DeleteOh wow! When does that go into effect?
DeleteSpring 2027 is about to be off the chain! LOL
DeleteThis isn't true.
DeleteThis isn't true.
Deletedo you guys know if the member recommendation letter is ineligible if they signed the date at the bottom of the letter with numbers instead of written out? Example: at the top of the letter she typed out January 29, 2026 but at the bottom where she signed the letter she put 1-29-2026. I was told it "should" be fine by the lmc but because she didn't definitively say "yes that's fine" im a bit iffy on the feedback.
ReplyDeleteIt’s fine.
Deleteif you didn't turn it in already, have the person write out the Month, just to cover yourself.
DeleteThat's perfect fine, what matters most is that the letter was dated AFTER the RUSH date
DeleteDo anyone know the line cap for the MDA chapter in Dallas? I’m so nervous it was over a 1k women’s at Rush π©
ReplyDeleteThere were over 1k at the FW rush. I don’t think everyone who attended met the requirements such at residency, community service, etc. So I doubt everyone who attends rush will submit an application and/or get an interview.
Delete@January 30 at 9:20 AM. Are you talking about FW chapter in the DMV? I heard there were about 1000 people there. That's a lot!
Delete@January 30 at 5:34 PM. I was surprised that May people were there. Tri-county had their rush at the exact same time. I wonder how may ppl were there since they service half of Charles county and the 2 other counties.
Delete@1/30- 9:20am and 5:34pm… Yes, FW DMV rush had about 1200 women but based on repetitive questions, I agree that not everyone qualified to apply. You also have to consider those that not have things in time and/or won’t be qualified based on what’s submitted. I know a few backed out once they heard what they would have to pay.
DeleteI’m confused on the application. Do the public service recommendation need to be dated in ink? It also says place info on top of the recommendation…does that mean within the box or the form where it has the recommender info? I’m so confused
ReplyDelete@Jan 29, 11:01 PM, what do you mean by info on top? What info? I submitted my app today and you're making me nervous because I don't recall reading that. LOL.
DeleteI was told by membership intake chair that the date on the form can be typed. I’m assuming by “on top” they mean in the fields that ask for that info that’s on page 4
Deleteits all very confusing this year. last time I did it, it was pretty straightforward so im disappointed in the anxiety the app is creating this year more than usual.
Delete@3:53 AM i hope that's fine as is, because my service letter writer only signed her name in the box (as the instructions indicate) .The date was typed at the top on page 4. Fingers crossed!
DeleteSame here. I only did what the instructions said!
DeleteThe new service requirement is tripping everyone up. I’ve heard the date on page 4 fulfills the requirement but I did not take any chances. I dated it 3 times!! (at the top, in the recommendation box, next to the signature)
DeleteThere’s nowhere on the instructions that say the signature also needs to be dated in pen and ink, just dated. A signature needs to be in pen and ink, for sure. But the date at the top, which is typed, satisfies the requirement. My letter writer also put the date in the recommendation box and signed her name in the letter itself as well as she treated the recommendation box as an actual letter. The signature under the log doesn’t ask for a date. It just says signature so adding a date wouldn’t hurt but you technically don’t need it. Everybody relax and do what the instructions ask for lol
DeleteThe photo requirement..can it be a professional picture or just a regular photo? DST
ReplyDeleteThe brutal wait begins!
ReplyDeleteApplication was due last night. I’ll update timeline as I hear back. I know there’s at least one other person on here that attended the same rush. Good luck to us all!
VA Rush: 1/19
App due: 1/29
Interview Call: pending ππΎ
Membership Call: pending ππΎ
@January 30, 2026 at 3:59 AM I attended the same rush. So it looks like there are three of us. I submitted my application yesterday as well. Good luck to you!
DeleteYes! I’m wishing you all the best on this journey!
DeleteI definitely agree with January 28, 2026 at 4:27 PM. The negativity that is happening is unnecessary. There are a number are reasons why a person could be asking rather a particular chapter is having rush or asking any other question. We don't know anyone's story. So let's stop assuming. If you don't know the answer to someone's question, just keep scrolling. Very few members come on the forum. So the majority of us are all interests that are not guaranteed membership no matter how much work we have put in. Let's just make this a supportive and encouraging blog.
ReplyDeleteI dated mine in ink next to the signature box and on the actual letter where my public service writer signed her name. That was recommended by a member.
ReplyDeleteI had my public service recommender sign the date next (pen and ink) to the signature box and next and also on the actual written recommendation under her signature.
ReplyDeleteI wanted mine to, but that's not what happened. Alas... let's hope it was not required on that form. The first time they signed under the recommendation like a letter, so I already had to send it back once and didn't want to do it again. The letter format is so much easier when it comes to relying on other people.
Delete7:16 and 4:27
ReplyDeleteWe have to stop confusing honesty with negativity and focus more on accountability. Intake information is public and readily available. Everyone is capable of finding it independently, even without knowing members, if they are truly serious about pursuing this. Good luck to everyone this season.
I'm 4:27 and I'm not confused. I just think that everyone should worry about their own individual journeys. The application instructions are truly readily available, yet half the comments are people asking questions about what to do, and where to find this, and who to ask about this after they have attended Rush and are completing their app as we speak, but I'm not making comments about them saying "Yall should know this."
DeleteLike I said, everyone needs to worry about themselves. Don't get tricked out your spot worrying about what other people are and aren't doing is all I'm saying.
Yes the information is readily available but as you can see by a lot of these comments the “readily available” information is confusing to some.
