Hi Everyone,
It's been a LONNNNG time coming but it's HERE! Happy 2025 Rush! I know some of you may be feeling a lot of different emotions as rush season is now here. You probably feel nervous, anxious, scared, thrilled, happy, excited, etc....and that's all normal. My advice? Take it all in and don't allow your emotions to take over. Just think some of the people in that room could possibly be your future line sisters and/or line brothers. The best advice I can give you is, do your best, come prepared, get to know not only the members in the room, but other people in the room as well. This takes a lot of effort on your part. Remember that although you want to stand out, you don't want to seem TOO aggressive. So, I would say READ THE ROOM!
I can't believe that nearly TWENTY-FIVE (25) years ago, I was in your shoes. WHERE HAS THE TIME GONE?????? 25 years ago I was roaming on my college campus and I see it. I froze. I smile. Then I get nervous. The flyer was posted in the Union building that the chapter is having an informational. (We didn't call it rushes, but informationals). I was SO nervous. I remember running back to my dorm room, and calling one of my girlfriend's who was at Howard at the time telling her that the time has come. I was BEYOND excited. I also knew that it was time to get all my ducks in a row (pun intended). I made a few phone calls to make sure my Delta mentor was still active and financial so I could have her on standby to write my letter, I called back home to ALL the places I volunteered in Chicago to make sure they could write me a letter of recommendation. I reached out to a few of my professors to make sure they could write me a letter of reference. Let's just say, ya girl was PREPARED! I did not want to wait until the last minute to try to gather these things since I heard that there could be a deadline for all of these things. Mind you I gathered ALL of these things no less than 24 hours AFTER seeing the flyer. Now mind you, I didn't get these things until AFTER the rush, however I wanted to make everyone aware that I would need these letters soon.
I can't believe that was I will be celebrating my 25th year in my organization and I have never been so happy to be a part of what I feel is the greatest sorority on earth. But I am sure ALL of my fellow greek sistas' feel the same way about their org. If you don't then something is wrong with you! LOL!!!!
So good luck to everyone out there. I truly hope you have a wonderful time a rush, and as much as I want to tell you to not be nervous, and take it in, as someone who has been there before I just won't. Just take it all in and enjoy the process.
Ciao for now and good luck to all of you!
Hello, Thanks so much for the 2025 RUSH Blog.
ReplyDeleteI attended RUSH on 1/26/2025. Applications due 2/5. I’m praying…
What area for the 1/26/25 rush? If you do not mind me asking.
DeleteThank you so much for the 2025 Rush blog. I figured you were probably busy and we all get it. I think we were just anxious because we wanted to connect with one another since rush season is here. We truly appreciate all of your efforts.
ReplyDeleteYay! Thanks for posting the new thread. I've been stalking this page for updates. Many thanks for all you do for us. Good luck to all those who are applying for membership this year.

DeleteI attend led rush on 1/26 applications due 2/5. My delta recommendation that I had one standby for 2 years is now MIA. I’m so nervous and scrambling to try to find another that is financial.
ReplyDeleteI’ve been in your shoes before. I tried twice before becoming a member 2 years ago now. Write down every Delta you know from church, childhood, your community, etc and start making phone calls. Every time I applied, my original letter writer fell through but I was able to find someone. Wishing you the best!
DeleteGood luck everyone! I was in your shoes last year and am now on the other side! My advice: Check, double check, triple check and quadruple check your application before submitting!
ReplyDeleteAttended a Rush on 1/26 applications due

DeleteAny Dallas chapters having a line besides Denton? Is Arlington on probation?
ReplyDeleteI heard Arlington would have a Spring 26 line but they said the same about’ 25
DeleteIs DFW on probation?
ReplyDeleteHello ladies, I submitted my applications for Desoto County rush for the SECOND TIME. Last year’s line was dropped but unfortunately I didn’t make it to the interview portion anyways due to my 2nd proof of residency being my lease agreement… but this will be my third time
ReplyDeleteyesssss THIRD time applying & I can never make it to the interview portion.. hopefully I crossed every t and dotted every i this time.. I have dreamed of joining this organization since I was 6yrs old.. ughhh I’m just waiting to at least get a call for an interview this time around.. okayyy vent session is over. Lol
RUSH 1/19
Submitted app 1/28
App due 1/29

I am pretty much in the same boat. First and second submission line dropped. Hopefully third time is a charm.
DeleteI live in Panola County. Good luck❤️🤍
DeleteHave you heard anything yet?
DeleteGood luck! I have a friend that submitted in Desoto as well.
DeleteNo I haven’t , I’m probably not going to. My service letter had the wrong format for the hours
DeleteI went to rush on 1/15 and apps were due 1/25. I quadruple checked before submission. Now the waiting begins. I’ve also been studying like crazy so hopefully I’m studying and retaining the right information.
ReplyDeleteI went to one the same date. Where was yours located?
DeleteSame! What city are you in?
DeleteSame! What state are you in?
DeleteIm so excited to see the 2025 blog. I have been looking everyday.
ReplyDeleteAtlanta Rush - 01/18
Applicated due 01/28
Now we wait! Im so anxious and nervous! Praying
Good luck, I'm in Newton County
DeleteIm so happy to see this BLOG! Ive been waiting on it. Any Atlanta hopefuls out there?
ReplyDeleteAtlanta Rush 01/18 (2500 ladies attended)
App due 01/28
Now the waiting begins! GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE!!! Im praying this is my year!
I'm in Georgia, but I'm in Newton County. i attended the Rush on 1/26 and the applications were due 2/5
DeletePlease let us know if you get a call and I will too. I was there and submitted 2/3
DeleteI attended rush 1/26 in newton, application submitted 02/03. Please keep Us posted on interview! I will as well.
DeleteHello, Checking on any Atlanta Alumni hopefuls out there.
DeleteIm an Atlanta hopeful here patiently waiting. It will be 2 weeks tomorrow since applications were due. How are you feeling?
DeleteGirl, Anticipating the call for an interview. A little over 2 weeks. There were over 2,500 ladies in attendance. It was insane.
DeletePatiently waiting. It's been over 2 weeks now. It was over 2,500 ladies @ Rush. Insane. Praying for an interview
DeleteYou and I were at the same rush! Tuesday made 2 weeks. Did you receive the email saying that they were still reviewing and to be patient?
DeleteI received the email as well. I know the rush was full of hopefuls and I knew it would take time to get through each application. I’m remaining positive and trusting the process, while staying busy. Best of luck to you!
DeleteAttended rush on 01/11 applications were due on 01/21 now I patiently wait. This was for the Katy Alumnae Chapter.
ReplyDeleteI attended Katy as well. good luck to us both!
DeleteThe time after submitting your submission and waiting for the interview call is real. Attended a 1/16 rush, with applications due this past Sunday, 1/26. I've been preparing (in faith). Really curious about the length of the interview, and the time between the interview and being extended membership. So many questions, no real answers. The waiting game is tough - stay hopeful!
ReplyDeleteThese times vary significantly depending on a lot of factors. I became a member last year. My interview was a month after Rush. I received THE CALL a week after my interview. Depending on the size of the chapter, these timeframes can vary greatly.
DeleteAttended Rush 1/19 and applications were due 1/30. I’m so glad I submitted on 1/27, the website has been giving some people issues. But now we wait on interviews. Good luck everyone!
ReplyDeleteHello everyone, I recently attended a rush for a Chapter outside of Houston!
ReplyDeleteRush:1/11
App Due: 1/21
Interview: Praying and waiting
Any Virginia ladies here that attended rush 1/18 with apps due 1/28? Good luck and praying for everyone❤️.
ReplyDeleteNot 1/18 rush, but 1/19 rush. Good luck!!
DeleteHi! I emailed the President of oir chapter the same question. On the application there is a space that ask for your maiden name. She told me to list it there. I didnt need to submit anything else. I would email the two people they advised you to reach out to for clarity.
DeleteGood luck!
Hi. I have been told I need to submit proof of name change since my last name on my transcript doesn’t match my license. Does anyone know where I can upload proof of name change in the application portal?
ReplyDeleteDuring the rush I attended we were told to submit this information to the chapter president via email. In your case, it wouldn’t hurt to reach out to the membership intake chair and or the chapter president for further clarification.
DeleteAt my rush we were instructed to email proof of name change to the membership intake team. I would assume this is true across the board as there is no defined area to include this on the application.
DeleteHi! I am now a member & had to do this for my application. For my license upload, I made it 2 pages - first page was my license picture front & back and second page was my marriage license which shows my maiden name. Hope this helps!
DeleteThank you all so much for your responses about proof of name change. You all are the best!
DeleteDo we have to show license front and back? I only uploaded the front. Now I’m worried.
DeleteDo you have to upload front and back of license? I only uploaded the front now I’m nervous.
DeleteWe have to make a copy of both sides of the license?
DeleteNo where on the Spring 2025 application instructions or on the application itself does it say to provide a copy of the front and back of your license. Front, where information is visible is all it says.
DeleteDon’t worry.
We were not told to copy front and back. I only uploaded the front
DeleteI am just extra. No- You don’t need the back. Sorry!
DeleteHello ladies (& gentlemen…? I know not everyone who uses this blog is a Delta interest). I have followed this blog for years. I finally entered Deltaland last year. Here’s my advice for Delta interests: (1) READ THE INSTRUCTIONS. If you think you’ve read them enough, READ THEM AGAIN. The application is about weeding people out who don’t know how to follow instructions. If you can’t follow instructions now, you’ll never make it as a Delta. (2) Keep yourself busy after applying. It can take weeks and weeks before you hear back. (3) Everyone will hear back who applied so if you haven’t received a call or email, keep waiting. If your application is complete, you will receive an interview. After the interview, you’ll only hear back if you made it.
ReplyDeleteSuch great advice. Thank you!
DeleteHi. I just renewed my car registration December 2024. Can I use that as proof of residency even though the registration date will not be 120 days prior to RUSH?
DeleteSame with me. I uploaded both of mine ...the old and new to be on the safe side.
DeleteI just received a response from the President. The DMV registration is fine.
DeleteI had my interview for undergrad last weekend so is that last part true across the board or just alumnae?
DeleteThis is my favorite blog! I used this blog to keep me sane while I was in my process in 2023! I’ve been in Delta Land since SPR 23, but I always come back. It was such a stressful journey. I’m so blessed to have had all the people here to feel like I wasn’t alone! May your applications be TIGHT and your phones RING!!!
ReplyDeleteMy timeline back in 2023:
RUSH - 1/14
Apps Due - 1/24
Interview Call - 2/19
Call for Membership - 2/28
Good luck everyone!!!
Congrats! I think you’re our first one!
DeleteOh old. Disregard. I just realized you were talking about last year. LOL
DeleteHey Sands! Sp23 was a GREAT year to become a Delta :)
DeleteThank you for sharing this!
DeleteI wish everyone here the best of luck! If you haven't submitted your information yet, please quadruple check every little thing. If you have time come back to it a little later with fresh eyes and you may see things you missed before. If possible have a member (who is active and knows the deal) to look over your paperwork BEFORE you hit submit. Do not deviate from what is asked for, that can deem you disqualified. 2 years ago today was my rush and my third try was the charm so be not discouraged ladies. When it is your time it will happen. Above all keep the faith and HOLD ON!
ReplyDeleteIf it’s helpful, here’s my timeline from last year. I crossed SPR24:
ReplyDeleteRush: 1/13
Application Due: 1/23
Interview call: 2/11
Interview: 2/14
THE CALL: 2/22
This was not my first time applying and my journey to Delta was more than 20 years! Hang in there!
I submitted my application. I checked it over and over again to make sure I did not miss anything. I also had someone else check behind me as well. As I wait for the interview notification I will keep praying and preparing. The waiting is always the hardest part.
ReplyDeleteRush 1/26
Deadline 2/5
For those that attended Rush at the beginning of January, have interview calls started yet?
ReplyDeleteRush 1/11, apps due 1/21, no interview call yet but they did give us a "range" of dates starting with 2/13 - 2/18
DeleteI had rush January 15th and literally got a call for the interview today. I’ll keep you posted on how it goes.
DeleteHi! What state are you in?
DeleteWhat state was this in?
DeleteHow did your interview go?
DeleteThe application process is so stressful. Step 2 complete.
ReplyDeleteRush 1/26
Apps Due 2/5
I don't know what prompted me to go back and check my Public Service LOR. The format for the hours is not the most recent format. I even had a president from another chapter check everything before I hit submit. I am sick right now....praying for the best, but I'm uncertain right about now. Literally, sitting here shaking my head :(
ReplyDeleteDo you mind elaborating on what format you used?
DeleteIt’s definitely my fault for not triple checking, but I was certain everything was correct since the second set of eyes IS a president. The letter writer used this format, (January-March 2023; 20 hours) (April - June 2023: 16 hours), etc. I thought about this ALL night…still praying for the best.
DeleteI believe she means her service letter did not list the hours for each month. For example October 2023 -8 hours; November 2023 - 5 hours and December 2023 - 5. Instead she used the old format which may have been October 2023 - December 2023 18 hours.
DeleteI can totally understand how you feel. The format is different this year and they show an example on the application of how it needs to be. You may still be fine though. Dont stress too much. YOU GOT THIS!
DeleteThe writer used the following format, January - March 2023: 20 hours, April - June 2023: 16 hours, etc. The format should have been Month/Year: Hours. I’m distraught right about now! :(
DeleteI know it’s hard but try to keep the faith. You may still get an interview just keep the faith.
DeleteI wish this was posted a week ago :-( now that I’m looking back on my LOR my service hours are listed the old way & I see that they have changed the format this year … well I guess my application is deemed ineligible AGAIN.
Delete@anonymous 2/5 11:07PM- Do not count yourself out. You never know. The format has changed but the hours are still the same so maybe they will not disqualify your application. Keep the faith.
DeletePlease don’t count yourself out. You’re making yourself sick. Yes, the application requirements are specific, but the requirement is just that within the last ____ months, _____ hours are completed. This needs to be well documented. As long as the total hours is more than or equal to the requirement, you will be fine.
DeleteWait, did the hours have to be formatted exactly as the example? I have the same info listed but formatted it another way.
DeleteDo not worry. You’re overthinking it. Read that section of the application. There is no required format/style. The application shows an example of the breakdown of the hours not specifically how it needs to appear. The requirement is a certain amount of hours over specific period. As long as your letter breaks down that you served the minimum hours within the timeframe, then you should be fine. Wishing you the best!
DeleteI submitted my application for my COI but shortly after checked my service letter and realized that two of the months listed were not complete meaning one was missing the word “hours” after the number and the other month was missing the year. Without those two months I am still exceeding the minimum requirement. Would that small error deem my application ineligible or will they count what’s listed correctly? I was thinking about it all night.
ReplyDeleteI do not think the one missing the word hours would seem your application incomplete since you still exceed the hours. They may not count the hours for that one month. However, I am not sure about the month that is missing the year because it has to be 120 hours in two years. Remain positive.
DeleteHello! If I am understanding you correctly, outside of those hours, you exceed the minimum requirement for service hours. If that’s the case, you don’t have anything to worry about. The potentially unattributable hours are in excess of the requirements.
DeleteI wouldn't stress about it. It seems like the new hours format is causing some issues. They may catch it and it could cause a problem or they may not notice at all. In any case it's too late to change now. Hoping all goes well. You'll know if it's okay in about two weeks. Good luck.
Delete@ 2/6 4:52am: If your total hours added at the bottom are correct, you should be good if the hours are exceeding.
ReplyDeleteRush 1/18
ReplyDeleteApp due 1/28
I can count on two hands how many girls were at Rush (not many)
No interview call yet, I really hope to hear something this weekend. I hope it doesn’t go into next weekend because I will be traveling out of town next weekend. I don’t want to miss the opportunity to interview. I’ve seen 24 hour interview notices on this blog. What should you do if you can’t make the date given? Is it a bad look to suggest another date with better availability?
Yes you are given 24 to 48 hours in most cases. If you do not make it to the interview you will not be able to move forward in the process. If you had less than 10 people at your rush, then all interviews will be conducted on the same day. Therefore you will not have an opportunity to schedule the interview for another day.
DeleteYeah with several hundred you can probably push the interview date (I was able to extend mine for three days), but with such a small group, there's probably not much wiggle room. So you'll just need to decide if you want to continue on your journey or take your trip. But ask them either way to see what they can do...it can't hurt.
DeletePlease do not miss your intervie
DeleteI did not miss my interview ladies! I got the call last night to interview today. I wouldn’t have missed it for the world even if it fell on my vacation day.
DeleteMy timeline again
Rush 1/18
App due 1/28
Interview 2/9 (I really feel like I killed it there were smiles)
The room is filled with chapter members. Learn your why and what you can contribute. Learn national and local chapter programs.
What area had only a few people? I wish I was so lucky! Atlanta is INSANELY crowded for rush.
DeleteIt’s been a little over a week since applications were due and as each day goes by, I’m getting more anxious! How are you ladies doing? How are you preparing for interviews?
ReplyDeleteI have been studying up on the programmatic thrust, My why for being a delta and just overall history about Delta and the chapter im applying too
DeleteHas anyone received notification for an interview? Timelines can be so tricky. I would assume interviews will start sometime between this weekend and the next two weeks.
ReplyDeleteHi! I had a mid-January rush, and received the interview call today. It’s been nearly 2 weeks since application deadline. Interview this upcoming week. Spot on with what you anticipated for timeline.
DeleteGood luck on your interview!! You got this. You are one step closer! I figured interviews would start soon!!
Delete@ February 8, 2025 at 9:58 PM omg, if you don't mind me asking - what city or state are you in? Or what was the rush date and app due date? Just want to see if the timeline matches for the chapter I applied to lol.
DeleteThank you all for the comments I reached out to a member and she asked around and said it’s fine.
ReplyDeleteI know most people are probably here for Delta, however I am happy to report I was just extended membership into my dream sorority: Alpha Kappa Alpha. To the creator of this blog, thank you creating space for us. All of your posts was geared perfectly for prospective members.
ReplyDeleteI have been following you since middle school and I can't believe my time is finally here. To everyone else, I am wishing you all the best with your journey! I hope we all become sisters in greekdom.
Congratulations!!
DeleteCongratulations soon to be sister Greek! I am DST Spring 2024! Enjoy every minute of your process!
DeleteCongratulations!
DeleteThats AMAZING! CONGRATULATIONS!
DeleteHas there been any 2025 Alumnae interviews?
ReplyDeleteIm in MD. None for me yet
Delete@ 2/10 2:37pm… I’m in MD also and nothing yet on my end either. Was your app due 1/25?
Delete@2/11 6:45AM. Yes!! Due 1/25! I’m SO nervous and trying my best to keep busy! Been answering SCAM calls left and right just in case!
DeleteYes! My Interview is tomorrow. Please be aware we received emails instead of a phone call. A friend of mine in another state received a call. So make sure you’re check emails and answering all calls.
Delete@2/12 @ 2:28AM. OMG!!!! Good luck to you!!!! 🙏🏾🙏🏾 You got this girl!! Sending good vibes! Please keep us posted! This is for MD right?
Delete@2/12 @2:28AM! Congratulations!!! I pray all goes well for your interview!
DeleteThank you! Sorry, no this was in GA. I think it went well. But we’ll see 🤞🏾
Delete@feb 12 @2:18am : Congratulations! That’s exciting! Good luck and all the prayers! Are you nervous? What state are you in?
DeleteGood evening, I just realized that the format of my service hours was not formatted like the example. My hours are EXPLICITLY stated but my format was different. I used Jan-Feb 2023 20 hours type of format. Would this deem my application ineligible? It didn’t state to use the exact format. Has anyone had this issue and still got an interview?
ReplyDeleteI am an undergraduate.
ReplyDeleteTimeline
Rush Mid January
Application was Due 5 Days Later
10 Days Later was the Call for an Interview
24 Hours Later was my Interview
It has been 6 days since my Interview, waiting on THE call prayerfully🙏🏾
How long does it normally take to hear back? For reference my rush had probably 300-450 ladies I couldn’t tell.
🙏🏾🙏🏾You got this. I have heard it can take any from 5 to 15 days. Sometimes a little longer depending on the number of ladies. I pray you receive THE CALL!!
DeleteRush- mid jan
DeleteApps due- 6 days after
Interview- a week after
THE CALL- waiting…😭🤞🏾(been 8 days and counting for undergrad)
I heard back one week later last year. Please come back and update us!
DeleteStill nothing 11 days later
DeleteRejected last night 🥲
DeleteWhere were you rejected from? What state?
DeleteI know it hurts because I have been rejected twice but if you really want it just keep doing the work. Remember a delay is not a denial. This is just a delay. It will happen.
DeleteHello, Thanks so much for the 2025 RUSH Blog.
ReplyDeleteI attended a RUSH on 1/26/2025 as well. And the applications were due on 2/5. I'm trying to stay busy and praying as well 🙏🏾
What state?
DeleteI am on the same timeline in Texas.
DeleteI am also on the same timeline in Texas. But it was more than 50 but less than 60 people at the rush I attended.
DeleteI hope interview calls start rolling in this week! Good luck ladies!
ReplyDeleteCrossing my fingers for interview calls this week. I wonder if they wouldn’t do them due to it being Presidents’ Day weekend? I go out of the country next week and really hope it doesn’t happen then.
DeleteI don’t think so. In 2023, I received an interview call on Presidents‘ Day. Hopefully you’ll get a call soon!
DeleteIn 2023 my interview was on President’s Day. I received my call that Saturday and my interview was on Monday.
DeleteI don’t know about everyone else, but as I wait for an interview call (yes, I’m claiming it) I have decided to pull out my interview clothes, making sure everything is clean, pressed and fits nicely. I’m focusing on self-care every day to keep myself calm, relaxing, and preparing for whatever questions they may ask. I interview very well normally but when I interviewed the last time with a different chapter, I was extremely nervous and it showed, so I’m working on combating that. Luckily, I’ve gotten to know some of the members well, so I hope at least one or two of them are present for a little reassurance so I can remain confident in my responses. Praying that call comes soon. I’m so anxious.
ReplyDeleteThis is an excellent way to manifest the interview. I did the same and I received my interview call last Saturday night. Just waiting on the call.
Delete@2/11 9:12PM….what state are you in?
DeleteI have my phone up loud waiting for interview call. I figure it will be this week.
ReplyDeleteAny interview calls for Denton? I’m so nervous my app didn’t make the first cut
ReplyDeleteNo call yet I am nervous that I didn't make the cut either.
DeleteDoes anyone know if Katy calls for interview happened yet? Getting nervous as the dates roll by.
ReplyDeleteIf it was a large turnout for Katy I wouldn’t get nervous. They have a lot of applications o go through.
DeleteHow many people were at the Katy rush?
DeleteAbout 500
DeleteInterview calls for Katy has started !
DeleteDo you know if they’re finished? I didn’t get one. I’m trying not to panic but I’m really nervous and anxious. My packet was complete and thorough as this isn’t my first rodeo. Man I’m trying not to be upset.
DeleteWith 500 girls showing up to the rush, the interviews will take a few days so all interview calls mostly likely will not happen on the same day. If they are giving 24 hours notice then those who interview on Saturday will get the calls on Friday. Those who interview Sunday will get the call on Saturday. Just be patient I know it’s hard but your call is coming.
DeleteThank you! @6:25 I really need this encouragement.
DeleteHey ladies! Quick question, I haven't applied for membership since before they went digital. Just curious, is there an opportunity to review your applications prior to submitting them? Can you edit after you save it or once you hit submit, it's done?
ReplyDeleteGood luck to everyone pursuing this year.
'once submitted that's it.
DeleteYes you can save as you go but there is no editing after you submit it
DeleteHi! Yes you can edit and review prior to submitting. You can go in and out and it saves whatever you have. With that said once you submit its FINAL.
DeleteYou can save it and come back to it to review it but once you hit submit you are done. So make sure you review it a lot before hitting submit.
DeleteGa here...RUSH was 1/19...packet due 1/30
ReplyDeleteInterview tonight! So thankful...so nervous.
I hope all went well with your interview!! You got this!!!
DeleteHope it went well last night!
DeleteWhere in GA? I am in GA and the rush was 01/18 and the packets was due 01/28.
DeleteMe too! I hope your interview went well!
DeleteI hope your interview went well! How was it? I pray you will receive THE call.
DeleteNot yet.
ReplyDeleteAnybody in VA still waiting on interview calls? It’s been two weeks for me since the app deadline and I’m still waiting. Hopefully I’ll hear something soon!
ReplyDeleteI'm in VA also. Apps due 1/28 and haven't heard anything either. I know a few others that applied and they are still waiting also.
DeleteAnyone from Desoto heard anything yet ? I’m getting more anxious ?
ReplyDeleteNope have not heard anything from them
DeleteNothing yet. Last year I got my interview call 24 days after the application was due. I am thinking this weekend or next weekend
DeleteI haven’t received an interview
ReplyDeleteCall yet, but I am claiming it and preparing. I already have a black suit but I’m considering getting a new navy blue suit. Do you all think it’s appropriate?
Hello, any interview calls from Atlanta? It’s been 17 days. Over 2,500 girls at RUSH. Patiently waiting for my call this weekend. Speaking It in existence.
ReplyDeleteHi! Im an Atlanta hopeful and No interview calls have went out yet. We received the email earlier this week that they were still going through applications and to be patient.
DeleteSame
DeleteIt’s been a little over a week since applications have been due and I find it so hard to keep myself busy… I’ve been working extra hours trying to busy my mind but I can’t help but think about when that call will come! This is my second time applying, first time alumnae, and I really feel good about this application. I look to the women on this forum everyday for peace of mind, and it’s comforting seeing that I’m not the only one feeling this way. I wish us all the best and I’ll be sure to update in the future!!
ReplyDeleteRush: 1/25
App due: 2/5
Interview: CLAIMING!
I’m in MD and interview is tomorrow the 15th. Eeekkk. I’m so excited and nervous! If you’re selected and you have to pay dues, will they allow to you cash app, PayPal, Venmo or anything if you aren’t in town? I know it has to be within 24 hours. Could I send a relative to drop it off? I know the invite call could be a couple weeks but I’ve also seen people receive a call a week later.
ReplyDeleteNo you have to pay in person with cashiers check or money order. Also you have to go in person yourself. They give you valuable information that day.
DeleteIts my understanding that you need to meet in person with a cashier's check. I dont think you can use those pay options but who knows. Things may have changed. There may be exceptions made on all that you are asking about depending on the circumstance.
DeleteGood luck on your interview!
Delete2/14 8:01 OMG! How did your interview go?
Delete@ 2/15 @11:43: My interview went great! I was so prepared so I was proud of myself. I also suggest when you ladies walk in the interview room, speak to all the ladies in there “Good Morning ladies, Good afternoon ladies” and make eye contact”… when I left the lady told me I was the only one that she had seen do that. No…, we wait lol Obviously there are many ladies but I do believe my answers made me stand out even just a bit.
DeleteWe’ve finally reached the weekend! I hope calls start coming in soon!
ReplyDeleteI wonder if interviews are in alphabetical order :(
ReplyDeleteI have wondered the same thing. Is it random, by scores, how are they scheduled?
DeleteYes they are. I know some chapters has started with Z and went to and some start with A and go to Z.
DeleteIs anyone else here waiting to hear from Bay City?
ReplyDeleteIt’s the weekend! It’s been 18 days. Praying for a call
ReplyDeleteAnyone in Illinois?
ReplyDeleteBe Patient for your interview call! There were 22 days between the date of submitting my application and being notified of my interview. A total of 24 days between applying and actually sitting for the interview. Take the time you’re waiting to prepare your answers and your attire. Don’t sit around hoping for the interview then regret how unprepared you were. Don’t be that person in the interview my sorors and I only remember because of how little you had to say in response to questions. Prepare the same way you would for your dream job interview. What would you do? You’d research that company, you’d understand what they do and how they do it and you’d have a clue as to how you would fit in their company as an asset etc. Go be great! You got this!
