Happy Summer Everyone!!!!
I can't believe it's the second week of July, and in a few weeks, I will be back in school. One exciting event that I am looking forward to is our National Convention in Las Vegas. I am all registered and ready to meet, connect, reconnect, with sorors. I promise to post a recap after convention is over. In the meantime, I came across these beauties before hitting the vendors at Vegas. Usually I do some "Major Damage" when I attend NC (National Convention) so I was thrilled when I came across these beauties. I wanted to share these finds with you.
I can't wait to pack up my clothes in these. DST suitcases. When I first saw them, it was LOVE at first sight. The only thing that will make this perfect is buying a cover for the larger suitcase. I have decided NOT to bring the larger suitcase. I am afraid that it may get scratched up in route to Vegas. I will however, be bringing the smaller carry on suitcase. My hubby asked me if I was not willing to travel with the larger suitcase, why would I purchase it? I explain to him that I only paid for the larger suitcase, and the smaller carry-on was free. I will be using the larger suitcase at times when we would be driving out of town. I am not taking any chances of these beauties getting scratched up.
When I first saw these clutches, I could NOT decided on which one to get. The quality was impeccable, and what I loved about about these clutches are you can dress them up with a LBD, or down with some cute jeans. I ended up buying ALL of them. I can't wait to rock them.
I love this bracelet! After watching the new movie "Wonder Woman," When I saw this bracelet, I just HAD to have it
The Vendor gave me this CUTE compact mirror as a free gift with my order. (HOW SWEET). I love how it was packaged in this beautiful velvet-y pouch. With this compact mirror, I can always make that my makeup is on point, and if I need to refresh my lips with lip gloss.
When I saw another soror rock this with her outfit, I just HAD to have it. Although you can purchase them separately, I had to get BOTH of them. They come in two different colors (Gold and Silver) and I opted to get the silver. One has pearls, and one does not have pearls. Paired together, they look amazing. I can't wait to wear them with my suits, or my Delta Blazer!
How do I find someone for a letter? I don't know many and I haven't found any financial members.
ReplyDeleteWhat worked for me, is attending & supporting their public events, and SLOWLY getting to know a few members. Asking them which future public events I could support, and networking helped. The members who attend events may tend to be active with the chapter, which means they are financial.
DeleteThanks!!
ReplyDeleteCan you post a link to where to find the Suitcase?
ReplyDeleteCan you post a link to where to find that suitcase? Thanks

DeleteThis will be my first Delta National Convention as I am a neo. So excited!!
ReplyDeleteWhat if your campus chapter is inactive & the alumnae chapter doesn't hold any events for networking to get a recommendation letter? Should I travel to other cities?
ReplyDeleteI wish I could have gone to the National Convention :( Waiting years upon years for a grad chapter in my area to have intake.
ReplyDeleteSoror, I am hoping to hit the vendors this summer at Regional. You have treasures upon treasures.
ReplyDeleteWere you able to hit the vendors soror? I can't wait to hit them in NOLA this summer. I will have my coins ready, LOL!
DeleteSoror, you blogged but did not respond to anyone.
ReplyDeleteShe actually does respond to people privately. At least she has responded to me and my friend personally after we contacted her from this blog.
