I'm currently in a leadership role and have been active with participating in community service activities. I've been invited to a DST Rush. I've looked at the DST Alumnae requirements, and it states the following: "The grade point average requirement is not applicable where the applicant demonstrates that:
a) it has been 10 years or more since she has received her baccalaureate degree or its equivalent;
or
b) she has received a professional designation equivalent to master’s degree or above; or
c) she has received a post-graduate degree or a professional designation equivalent (International Chapters only)."********So my question pertains to "a"......would I still be eligible for members due to it being over 10 years? Thanks for any information.
Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1597729995412462875.post-78285789573034573372023-02-22T08:54:46.352-07:002023-02-22T08:54:46.352-07:00"Grad" chapter means an Alumni or Alumna..."Grad" chapter means an Alumni or Alumnae chapter. So check the sorority of your choice state website first. They will list ALL the chapters if any in your area. Also try the sororities website they may have a feature where you can search sorority near your area. The only way you get to know the members is by going to their events. Trust me they are inviting and you have to understand they're going to be other women that are interest as well, so that will make it easier. You have to first find a chapter in your area, Google to see if they have a website, or even an email, reach out to them tell them you are an interest, they normally will reply and direct you, normally they have informational and they'll explain all what you're going to need and do. Good luck.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1597729995412462875.post-74409372369251402752021-04-28T11:53:51.619-07:002021-04-28T11:53:51.619-07:00This blog was very helpful to me.
